Overview & Motivation

An offline-first scheduling dashboard designed specifically for travel creators and remote developers, designed to optimize time blocks based on geographic coordinates, timezones, and sunset times.

The Friction

The Problem

Managing visual shooting slots (golden hour, sunset) and technical coding blocks while constantly crossing time zones leads to scheduling overlaps, missed deadlines, and creator burnout.

The Breakthrough

The Solution

Itera Shift maps coordinate locations to active weather and solar models to block visual creation slots in high-light hours, while grouping meetings into tax-residency and timezone-optimized blocks.

Development Process

Creator Process

Developed while driving a caravan along the coastal roads of Southern Italy. Tested offline synchronization between mobile nodes and Next.js databases.

UX Philosophy

Design Philosophy

Time should adapt to location. Technology should shield the creator from timezone mathematics, letting them sync their work rhythms directly with natural light.

The Future Vision

Implementing local calendar relays over low-bandwidth satellite links to allow remote updates in deep national parks.
